It's a value for what you'd spend on similar previously unobtainable stuff. I do like the selector, although I installed it upside-down initially, it was a quick fix to change to short throw, and a Geissele trigger fits fine with the selector in place.

I also leveled it in a mount with a plum bob and a separate bubble level on the rail. Once the reticle is leveled, the turrets are visually canted off to the side.

There's no possible way the scope would track properly as the turrets are adjusted.

Ah, sorry. Reading comprehension failure on my part.

Was just curious because I have a Swarovski Z3 that really doesn't have a flat spot anywhere on it so I just treated the reticle as the very definition of level, but it seemed like it also had a 1 or 2 degree cant of reticle against the turrets. Was a bit trickier to mount since I couldn't place a level on the optic to any effect. I've never done a tracking test with it either, but perhaps I should. I don't understand the inner workings of a scope well enough to understand if the apparent cant necessarily leads to tracking issues. I'll be curious to hear how Kahles handles this.

Yes the comp is nearly flush with the end of the handguard. Function tested it and I'm happy with it. The only thing I don't like about the MMR is the white laser markings on the right side. Need to figure out how to darken them..... will probably just have to have it cerekoted to cover them up.

And yes those are Rainier Arms BUIS. Expensive but are my favorite BUIS.

Having built out a P2 when they were the most advanced drone on the market, the Mavic Pro makes me sad seeing it in Costco for sub 1k lol and it out performs mine in every way. The p3pro with the goggles is crazy, move your head and the gimbal moves the camera where you look. They are a blast though, be prepared to crash it from time to time lol.

Yes, it is. I’ve been polishing the cases with Flitz to smooth the corroded surfaces. I’m grading the rounds thusly: nice= no corrosion; crud= rough to a fingernail and enough that I’ll want to carefully inspect to consider for reloading; and nice crud= very small and not rough. So far crud is running 100 of 340 rounds polished. Of those, maybe will I automatically toss only about 20.

I only shoot at my outdoor range so it may be a while before can report results. This will be the first 7.62 gun I’ve had since my old M14 back in ‘69. Waiting to shoot it with a can is worse than with NFA jail.

Thanks! It's my first custom slide, and it's been a completely positive process. I contacted him Dec 29th to discuss it, and had it in my hands last night. Pretty darn tight turnaround.

Part of the reason he turned and burned on this slide is because another slide I have on order has been delayed by a barrel manufacturer (completely not Boogeyman's fault), so he wanted to get this in my hands to show good customer service. I think he went above and beyond.

TRex Arms has a neat night optic retention device out/coming out soon that’ll eliminate the bungee (if you so desire). Attach it and run the cord back and Velcro the retention patch down and you’re all set

I might do a Beyer 7.5" barrel down the road. I have no issues with the CMMG i just like that the Taccom carrier is Nib & has the silent buffer kit but is apparently no longer on their website [bash].
I can't say enough about Clint Beyer and his products , he took me on a tour of his shop and walked me through all the manufacturing process & even let me shoot some prototype stuff .

Some of that bias is present, but it was maddening when Arisaka was still advertising there that random non-paying manufacturers would come in, submit posts that were basically full-on advertising their own stuff, and the moderators would allow it. In the end I couldn't figure out what I was paying for, besides it saying "manufacturer" next to my name and having a larger private message inbox. Repeated emails to Grant/Roxanne about my issues were ignored, but when it came time to re-up for the advertising fees, they sure were responsive then.
