New Surefire WML
Well, kindof. Surefire quietly upgraded their M300 to 300 lumens. My educated speculation is that they simply made a 1-mode E1D head just like they did the EB1/M300B.
Anyway, the natural tendancy will be to compare this WML, the Elzetta's new 1-cell WML, made in conjunction with Malkoff. So, I've done that below.
Also, the question will be raised...is it REALLY 300 lumens? Or did they just re-label it like they did the M600C a few years back?
Well, I had an E1D and an M300B, and compared them, and yes, the difference is very noticeable both to the naked eye, and the camera.
Here is the EB1 runtime for comparison, to see what you "lose" compared to the 200 lumen M300's, for those of you considering upgrading...
*Allegedly, around mid 2014, the EB1 was revised for better performance. Here are both run-times for comparison to the E1D/M300C.
The new M300C is "free" lumens, what's not to like?
