    What ammo are you shooting? I don't think mine have ever left granules like that on the BCG/carrier before.

    They use a filler in addition to the powder to make up for the low case volume so no flash detonation occurs.

    One guy pulled a bunch of bullets who had the yellow grit but nothing like that filler was observed in the powder tray. Wonder if it changes color during the explosion?

    Others have said the Gemtech 220s do it also. Remington 220 subs don't but are carbony-dirty.


    I'd buy a single stage press & the basics and load my own with 208 A-max or 220 SMKs if I were you.

    AA1680, IMR4198, Lil Gun, and H110 are popular

    Thank you. I was looking for that info as I knew I read about it somewhere. Next time out I'm gonna try some Remi 220 subs.
