VP9 long slide
First impressions; Looks great. Slightly nose heavy with standard mag/perfect balance with extended. The rear sight notch is narrower than my Triji on the std slide. I’ll probably learn to live with it. Best feature is the weight - exactly the same as the std upper. If I shoot any better with this, my G9 is history for cold weather carry. $87 off MSRP at https://store.thegundock.com/product...earch_text=Vp9 Now out of stock.

U, I noticed the ports in the slide. Is the barrel ported? Just curious. Like I stated in another thread, I'm migrating away from SF pistols, but that's a great looking pistol, IMO.

Match barrel is not ported, Those are lightening cuts in the slide. I shot it at the range today and was impressed. A quarter click of windage put the sights right on. I shot the same as the original slide with Triji night sights at seven yards, but better at fifteen. Hard to judge recoil as standard felt good also with 147 grain. Barrel flip seemed noticeably better. I have an IWB holster on order from JP Custom Kydex. Open end for a threaded barrel, hopefully a future HK option.
If only I could put the VP9 slide on a VP9SK frame I could see a Glock free future.“ The aim of totalitarian education has never been to instill convictions but to destroy the capacity to form any.” ― Hannah Arendt
