He’s a couple years old.. nothing crazy

Would agree, most likely he’s a local and that’s his route.

Modern rifle starts next week here.

He’s probably 4.5-5yrs old with 10 points and for this area...it’s a beast. Most are lucky to spot a small 2-3 year 8pt since our rifle season is Aug 15-Jan 1
