I doubt it would interfere....they usually take fixed front sight posts into account like on .mil rifles when designed

You are not making my decision to use a A2 FSB any easier...

I never minded a fixed front sight. I don't have them on my ARs but I like them...some classic feel or something... I also like having the forward assist, brass deflector, and all that.

I feel like the short barreled ARs require a can also (especially under 12" but I'm suppressor biased)!

Also, my can is so hot in that pic the white portion in the center cooled back down to FDE in about 20 minutes. It's a 7.62 suppressor and even at 20oz it feels right at home on that pistol

It won't interfere with the laser, but the flashlight splashed the base of the BUIS somewhat and i did notice some shadowing on the wall across the room. If it was a fixed A2 sight it wouldn't interfere at all. I'm sacrificing sight radius for hand placement and control, as the buttons for the light and laser are on top of the box. After all they are just backups, and the pigtail remote it came with is a joke.

I got in some of my parts for an AR Rebuild I am starting. I installed the new barrel nut, gas block and test fitted the new hand guard.
I think I know why I like these things now. Apparently, I am still very much a kid watching the very first Star Wars in 1977.

Yep - there certainly is something very Star Wars when it comes to AR pistols

Thanks - I've handled the SIG brace, and it's not for me. I'm really liking this Thordsen RE cover and the CAA saddle.

Yeah - me too. I was looking last night at putting the Thordsen kit on mine but found out that the cover won't fit the Phase 5 pistol tube. The diameter is just a little too much. I'd have to change the pistol tube. they make those saddles in FDE too (though FDE is currently out of stock).
