MD,
A while back I wrote a short, but to the point rant "why do we need another lower", basically meandering about how anyone with a CNC machine, is now a "weapons" builder, that they were popping up all over the place like weeds, and the whole "look, another lower from "XYZ", how cool thread", was really getting old.
Then I see this. O.K., I take it all back, and will eat my words. I'll eat dirt, if I have too. I am hereby officially humbled.

Glancing back I saw this again, and I agree with it. I was in the drawing as well but I think what you are doing exceeds anything I may have done. Glad to see it in your hands!
However, if you're of a miscevious nature (such as I am ) you should start telling people that ALL of Stickman's guns are marked like that, and none of his photos are actually watermarked. When they look at you like you're crazy just show them your rifle that you "got from" him and be like "See?"

Hah you are too kind. Thank you.
I too get a little annoyed when I see yet another so-and-so whatever for the AR market. However choice is never really a bad thing. The market will decide if the latest gizmo sticks or not.
I think when you add a personal touch to even a mundane object it becomes more interesting

MD,
Not to spend other people's money, but do you have long-term thoughts of tax-stamping that lower?
If you're ever gonna pony up the extra $200, this would be a good combination to file. AP middy COP uppers over 10.5" barrels are sexy.

It would make a nice SBR but I already have 2 so I'm pretty much set
Also I think waiting for over a year is ridiculous, especially considering I already have several tax stamps, a govt clearance, a CCW, etc. etc. I have been vetted at the highest levels throughout my life and STILL it takes the stupid mofos over a YEAR to grant my tax stamp. The process has become so retarded that I just can't stomach it anymore.Last edited by MoxyDave; 6 January 2014 at 13:20.

Hey guys, I'm ready to buy a trigger for this build.
Old hands please chime in.
My requirements:
- single stage
- 3 or 4 lb pull
- safe, reliable, something you would take into combat
- separate pieces, no "trigger packs"
- uses standard springs
- price is no object, but only if higher price actually means higher quality
- compatible with 45 degree BAD-ASS-ST selector
There are so many triggers out there I am bewildered. For example even just within the Geisele catalog, there are a huge number of different options.
Please help me find the best trigger, bar none, for this unique rifle. Thanks in advance!

I'm in love with my SSA-E. I've got it on a GP 14.5. I wondered at first if it wasn't too light for that type of set-up, but it didn't take long for me to come to prefer it over a SSA.
