Wife likes this one...my Mosberg 500 mariner
And just realized- I don't have a good shot of my Tromix modified Saiga12! I'll have to remedy that.

Not really a shotgun but a pump action rifle, hope I can put it in this thread.
Bought it as a project because I can't own a 12ga pump action in the Netherlands, want to give it the looks of a real 12ga shotgun :)
Remington 7615P in .223Rem.
Magpul SGA 870 stock, modified to fit the 7615P.
Magpul MOE forend
Lumley Arms forend adapter
PRI picatinny scope rail
Mesa Tactical 6-shell carrier, just because i like it
Burris FastFire III (not on this picture)
Next step is adding fake mag extension tube and fit a heavy barrel or barrel shroud to give it the right looks.

Thanks. Prior to the M4, i'd only shot pump shotguns with standard (non-pistol grip) stocks. None of them were as comfortable to shoot as the M4. The ARGO gas system on the M4 really helps manage the recoil of hard hitting loads like 00 buckshot and slugs. My calibrated Mark 1 shoulder reckons recoil is cut by about half. Even with the standard fixed pistol grip stock, the M4 is very comfortable to shoot (although some seem to find the length of pull a bit on the long side). The collapsable stock isn't perfect though. It would be if the comb height were adjustable, in addition to length of pull. I find the iron sights are only useable with the stock fully extended (comb drops as the stock is extended because the recoil tube it's attached to is angled down). The middle position is comfortable to shoot from, but i find the irons a bit awkward to use in that position (it's perfect if a red dot mounted to the rail), and the fully collapsed position is really only useable for making the gun shorter for storage or transport (or for T-Rex to go shooting).
All in all, i love this shotty. It's pretty good right out of the box, but spending the extra money to add the collapsable stock and full capacity magazine (7+1+1 if you float a round on the carrier) to get the gun close to what it was intended to be was worth it IMO."It's time to start slapping people." - George Carlin
