Has anyone heard about this "SHUSH" bill to reclassify suppressors as non NFA accessories? I just came across it by accident. Read here: https://www.marshall.senate.gov/news...pressor-rules/

I've put off buying suppressors several time as the years have gone by just due to the hassle and costs plus waiting time, NFA transporting regs (out of state) etc..

If this bill will gain any traction I'd guess prices will skyrocket as demand will outstrip supply due to over-the-counter availability, due to deregulation and popularity, at least until supply catches up with demand. Again I'm just guessing. And I'm sure all of the left wing states will try to pass their own bans due to the "Hollywood depiction" of a suppressor going "pphhhtttt" out of the barrel of a weapon. What are your thoughts, will it pass? Will it create more hassles than there already are in owning them? Or what ever?

it would be cool to own a few, without the legal hassles and tax stamps.
