I've always felt that as well. Why would he want to go brown nose 17 years olds and live in Michigan when he can still be in the NFL and if(when) he goes to Oakland still live in the same house?

i'm a Raiders fan so of course I have some bias, but i'm not the only one with these thoughts.

I believe Oakland is a great job for Harbaugh. Most of their older vets are on a one or two year deal so they're not stuck with them, they will have 60 mil + in cap space next year, and their rookie class is exceptional. Carr has many NFL execs and experts thinking he's the real deal, soon to be DRPOY Mack is already Pro Football Focus's highest rated outside linebacker, is virtually unblockable and is only going to get better. I cant remember who was on ESPN radio last week but he was saying Mack can be the best defensive player in the league without the last name of Watt. Sure it will take a year or two of smart drafting and some moves in free agency, but they've shown flashes a couple times this season. Look at the AFC west, Denver is the best now but manning doesn't have much longer and is regressing fast, and without him who knows how good they can be. Plus the chargers and chiefs cant seem to get it right and will both be looking for new QB's in the near future. So the window for Oakland to reach the playoffs again is in the next few years IMO, and if they can land Harbaugh they'll have the best coach in the division as well. It would not surprise me if Mark Davis throws out $10-12 mil a year for him.

And there is the potential to be the coach of the LA Raiders in 2016...
