Anybody know what the blem stripped carriers would run? The TiN is sexy IMO.

Man... the more I look at these, the more I think I want one. My main concern with a BCG is how smooth it is and especially how easy it cleans up. I've read about the whole "is the material too hard, etc.", but I'm not too concerned about that because I'm just a hobbyist. I've only got one AR that I just really beat up.
Put it this way - Parallax TiN or Lantac E-BCG? What say you?

Well, since I don't have a Lantac I can't say on them but....
This carrier is super smooth. I expect it to clean up nicely. Few more pics of it nice and clean and I'll be shooting it in not too long.
As for hardness, the bolt itself is NiB not TiN. So the lugs contacting the barrel/extension won't wear the extension abnormally fast.
Though like you, I don't think it's a huge issue for a vast majority of shooters. And for those it is an issue for, you're shooting so much you're probably replacing he barrel anyway.

I have a TiN BCG from Weapon outfitters that the coating failed within 150 rounds. Never even considered another one. Curious to see how this one holds up.

It never impacted its function but the inside of the lower looked like someone had dumped gold glitter in it and basically everywhere it made contact the coating was gone. The concerning part was it was not worn off but had flaked off and left a clearly visible jagged edge.

Not saying you didn't get lucky but I have never seen such poorly finished BCG's in my life. Somewhere here or on FB, I can't recall I have some photos of the garbage Ares was selling. Machining marks all over and by far the poorest staking job I have ever seen on a gas key.
