Krebs or Galil Ace short barrel?
If my re-fi goes through I'm thinking of treating myself to a factory commie caliber short barreled gun. I've narrowed it down to either a Galil Ace Gap39 pistol or a Krebs ASSNECK Mod 2. Both make me drool so I'm just going to list differences and ask for opinions. Or other possible 45 or 62 I've missed in the same price range - not Arsenal.

Galil has not the ugliest pistol brace and I could SBR it later. Dislike the fat handguard panels and the picatinny underneath limits panel choices and means no Arisaka finger stop. M-Lok rail due soon. Hard to find info on suppressed relability. The only video I can find showed not cycling. Plus is my Recce 7 will mount to it.
Krebs Assneck costs a lot more as the pinned muzzle device only works (I think) with the Liberty A-Kaotic can in third link. I think safe to assume it cycles reliably with that can if Krebs says so. The worksmanship looks superb, but the long wait, ~$1000 more and two stamps is a big turn-off.
So I'd be happy with the Ace if it cycles suppressed. Can anyone recommend a shop to sort it out if it is problematic? I may just consider a CZ Scorpion SBR with an Omega 9K as an third option for less cost and proven reliability if the Ace sounds iffy.
P.S. If The Fix 6.5 Creedmoor bolt gun by Q LLC were in already production this post would not exist.“ When I comes to modern politics, I think the inverse of Hanlon's Razor applies...In other words, "Never attribute to stupidity that which is adequately explained by malice." - Kerplode

Always the Arsenal SAM7SFK as a good option.

I can look in to that for you.
Me personally, if I were to get AK pattern rifle and drop that kind of money, I'd be getting the Galil ACE (though, full disclaimer: I am very partial towards IWI). Unfortunately I never had a chance to fire one, since the time that I handled them was just during the pre/early import days.
Not gonna lie, the pricing model they use is stupid.

I have nothing against Arsenal except I find them overpriced. I see them as the Colt 6920 of the AK platform - an entry level model of top tier quality. Why is the Sam7 SBR is a thousand bucks more than the full size Sam7? Has it had a bunch of custom work done to justify the price? The Krebs Mod2 has a slew of well thought out original engineering, is dehorned, has a superior finish and costs a wee bit less.

My vote was going to be the ASSNECK. I've played with a few at couple Krebs shoots and they're AWESOME. The muzzle device system is pretty neat. I think I'll end up putting one on my Saiga.
Having said that. The liberty can on them makes it front heavy as heck. The can is pretty large.
Also, shooting an AK suppressed SUCKS. Hope you like gas in your face.
Not sure how the Ace shoots suppressed.Ground Defense 1, Blade Defense 1, Defensive Pistol 1 & 2, Aliance Shoot House, When Things Go Bad, YSINTG, Carbine 1, DART Medical, NRA Range Safety Officer

I agree with Pyzik and like the Assneck. I want to think that I read that the Q Fix is only about a month away.
