Mega forged uppers
So besides rarely, how often do you all see these available? If ever anymore? I just bought 2 forged lowers and like to match receivers whenever possible but sometimes that doesn’t happen.
Which raises the question, anyone have any experience with receivers that mate well with the forged lowers?

With Mega being sold I do not see a chance of stock being replenished at all.
And just like any lower it’s going to vary as far as figment goes. Always best to have a few uppers to pick the best fit from.

I believe they are discontinued as stated. Medic and UW talked me into using their Billet upper receiver for a build I did with their forged lower receiver and the fit is top notch. Glad I took their advice. They originally stated it was a better fit than the forged upper. I would imagine the ZEV forged upper is exactly the same except for the name...

You could always try out a Rainier Arms Gen 2 Forged upper, since those were the ones Mega produced for them.

I have a Rainier non-fa upper and the finish matches the mega.

I’ll check out the RA and ZEV uppers also. If mega produced the RA uppers, will they disappear into oblivion as well, or will someone else pick up the production?

I hear ZEV is continuing with the Hodge rails. Don’t know about their dealings with anyone else.
