Circling back on this. Nobody ever contacted me about my issue with the port door. It does not close without the assistance of something to push the pin down. It wasn't a hugely expensive thing, but it does piss me off that I got no response, even to vocally confirm that I'm screwed.
So, in my colorful opinion, those guys can GFY themselves. Fledge, shoot me an address. When I eventually tear that gun down to ship to Kris, I'll mail it to you, on my nickel. Saves space in the garbage.

From what I've read of Eric, he seems a stand-up guy. Too bad their "contact us" link goes to a junk folder instead of the only person I've heard of that gets things done. He shouldn't have to take care of a $20 snivel; every swingin' dick at that company should be able to fix something that small. Customer service is how you live or die, and every conversation is an opportunity to gain a faithful customer, as evidenced here, or fail miserably. Too much choice in the market equals zero second chances. Stack up a few of those and you're toast.

I’ve sensed the last few months they are transitioning out of the consumer side of things. Could be wrong. Just observations.
