Nothing finer than a well balanced, fast swinging O/U. I sold a beautiful 12, due to pretty much limited birds in KY (Unless you want to spend $500 plus to shoot a couple of pen raised phesants), have a 20, which I prefer anyway. Less shot, but lighter, if it's built on a true 20ga receiver. Great to carry all day. I can go into a higher end dealer and just drool all day over the O/U's.

Mental health tip. Don't try this at home. If you're going to drool over the high end O/U's leave your American Express card home.NRA Life Member

Nothing at all wrong with Ruger O/U's. I think some snobs who shoot 10K plus O/U's might look down on them. I've not owned one, but borrowed one from a buddy for a quail hunt in CA, so I wouldn't have the hassle of going through all the red tape flying one of mine down there. If I recall, it was a 28" barrel with a plain brush finished receiver. Handled great, I limited out fairly quickly. I wouldn't mind having one myself, something I won't have a nervous break down if I crash and ding it up a bit.

Benelli makes very nice shotguns. I swapped my Beretta for a Benelli semi-auto with a friend for a couple of Sporting Clay stands. Only got to fire a half dozen shots, but was very impressed.
