As it stands, the HPA is part of the Big, Beautiful Bill as written, has passed the House and is awaiting the Senate vote. The SHORT act (removal of SBR's and SBS's) is under consideration to be added back in after it was removed prior to the HR vote. You all need to call your senators (even the anti-gun ones because voter voice carries the most weight), and tell them to aupport the SHORT act, as well as approve the BBB. We've never been so close to victory and the push is on to get this passed before summer break. This bill only requires 51 votes to pass. When you email, you represent 10 voters. When you write, your interaction represents 100 voters, and when you call your congressional representation, your voice is considered the equivalent of 1,000 constituents, and the gun haters cant ignore it.

Take action, and while youre at it, support grass roots organizations like GOA, and FPC. Hell, even the NRA ILA is turning over a new leaf and supporting these bills, instead of buying fancy suits!
