Ejection issues with Aimpoint Magnifier
I am currently operating with a Aimpoint Pro and a Aimpoint 3x magnifier in LaRue mounts. I am using the LaRue LT755-30T for my maginfier and the LT 129 cantilever for the Pro. My problem is when the magnifier is in the pivot out position I am throwing brass from ejection into the mount and optic. I have tried a different buffer spring and a heavier buffer and all combinations of those with the original with no positive results. The only thing I haven't tried is working with the ejector itself. Can anyone offer any advise as how to correct my problem. My last resort is to mount the LaRue backwards, to the inside, to save the optic from eventual damage. Thanks in advance.

Do you have pics? I never seen or heard of that and I've ran several of them.

If there is another angle that would help just let me know, I can take more images today. Needless to say, I am really concerned bouncing brass off of glass. Thanks in advance for your help.

I was trying to see how far forward you had your magnifier. It is hard to tell from the pictures, but make sure your BUIS is as far back as it can and move the magnifier as far back as you can.

Is there a reason you can't rotate the magnifier in the mount and the mount on the weapon so that it stows on the left side when not being used?

I guess he will have to settle for a magnifier / brass re-deflector....

It seems clear from the 2nd photograph that everything needs to move back on the rail. For sure, the rear flip up sight and magnifier are too far forward.

Actually, the buis is in the last available slot on the 1913 as is the magnifier mount. They cannot be mounted any further to the rear. I appreciate everyone's input. For now I am running the magnifer to pivot to the left. Other options were to use the Aimpoint twist off mount that came with the magnifer but that mount isn't at the same height as the LaRue LT 129. I am considering using the QRP2 mount for the Aimpoint Pro with the Aimpoint twist off mount for the magnifer if they align correctly. If I didn't have old, tired eyes I wouldn't need the magnifer but as it is, time has taken it's share of my vision but not my desire to shoot what I aim at. I do find it difficult to accept that I am the only person using a Bushmaster XM15 ORC with Aimpoint and LaRue products having this issue but to date and many questions later, it would appear I am. Thank you everyone for your time to look at my problem.
