The Samson STAR-DI-2 is made of 6061 T6 aluminum and mil spec hard coat anodized. It is a direct drop in hand guard that utilizes the delta ring and requires no tools or permanent modifications to the weapon. The rail locks in tight for a solid mount. It is designed to mount on any carbine length M4/AR15 that has the standard mil-spec barrel nut/Delta Ring. The tool less modularity allows you to install the provided 2” accessory rail and plastic guards anywhere along the sides without any tools. The slim design allows for improved ergonomics and a comfortable grip.
