Military Aviation Museum - Virginia Beach, VA
This past weekend we were fortunate enough to have access to a timeshare in Virginia Beach thanks to the Girl's aunt and uncle. We were right in the flight path for a lot of F-18s flying out of Oceana NAS, which was neat, and got to see a C-5 and a couple of C-130s as well. On Sunday we visited the Military Aviation Museum, which is about 30 minutes from the beach proper. Below are the pictures I was fortunate enough to take. One photography lesson learned: when changing the ISO, make sure you didn't also change the file format from RAW to JPG... thankfully I realized this before the P-51 started flying!
First, some pictures from Virginia Beach:

Thanks for the compliments guys! Knowing that people like the shots helps keep me going. Seriously considering which kidney to sell in order to get into a full frame DSLR at this point.

Great photos Calengor, that place looks very nice. I've been to the Smithsonian and the one in Dayton, looks like I need to check this one out also.

Beautiful shots of the P-51. When i worked the c-5 I had to make several visits to Dover, they have a museum that's pretty good. Our's at Robins is pretty nice, kinda small but good stuff.

I have to make a trip down to the Smithsonian's annex one of these days. They're only about 1-1.5 hours away.
