there may have been some confusion and they think they can't claim the prize until the end of all the drawings and only joined for the giveaway so aren't bothering to check in until the end.

I was thinking the same thing. There are a lot of people out there that can't even work FB, much less a forum. However, how many times does Stick have to post on his FB to come check the forums to see if you've won? He does it on almost every post so there's really no excuse to not knowing. Maybe the emails went into his Gmail's Promotion tab and he never checks there, or even knows that it's up there.

You never know, though. One guy here that won early on was in the middle of a move halfway across the country. Others could be on vacation, or in jail, or deployed, or hospitalized, or with a relative who's hospitalized ... who knows why they're MIA. Maybe you could announce the winners on FB? I know that's more work, though, and you did say you won't be chasing people down.

Maybe hold on to the unclaimed until the end and then draw for those items again? That would give the winners plenty of time to respond.

You brought up some good points, but part of this giveaway was to promote WEVO. If you buy a lottery ticket Powerball doesn't PM or email winners to get their money.

Earlier, we got an email complaining about the number of members here that won ... that were members prior to 2010 apparently.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see any winners that have been members prior to 2010.

In fact the winners I've seen that have been members... the only posts they have here are for the various giveaways. Otherwise, they started posting here since the giveaway started. Most have 1 post. The only winners I've really recognized being somewhat longer time members is Gaswamper and I think he joined on the last giveaway.

Complaining about how a giveaway is run that cost nothing to enter...wow. "It's not fair...!" Well maybe they can persuade all these industry professionals to donate equipment directly to them in the name of fairness and equality. I'll wait to see that happen (but I won't hold my breath)

He cracked our code and figured us out.

How did this guy know that we conspired to put our lives and revenue on hold for 2-3 months? Then spend a ton of our own time to giveaway goods to people we don't know.
