lol, thats the fun part. You get a better laugh out of some of it (in my opinion) when you can read them in sequence versus bit here and bit there; but at least you are reading it, and thats what counts!

Sorry UW for being the cause of a stink. In my defense I was very surprised I won something at all let alone a very nice set of items I've been smiling for days everytime I think about it. Some do need to remember either way this is Sticks giveaway and he can run it however he feels and It was stated that some prizes were going to be given not only to the mini facebook game winners but to Wevo members that met Sticks and your qualifications. You even stated when I won that you wanted to disclose that I was selected much the way gost, ride, and tom was for the rails. So, with that being said please enjoy everything these guys are doing for us, enjoy the gunporn and interesting vendors you get to meet, and enjoy the Wevo site and all it's fine members. I'm pretty sure others would back me up when I say if you cant enjoy all these things then you can hit the F!@#^ door, there are a couple thousand people that wouldn't mind their odds improving. Sorry, rant over.

My wife was scared when we started having kids, that they would be as big as I was when born. My parents tell me stories that the doctor that delivered me called in all the other doctors and nurses on the floor to look at me. My mom was tiny and she delivered me at 9 lbs 10.5 oz and 23 3/4 inches. Its funny though, I was a giant baby, and am only 5' 10" and 170lbs now.

Earlier, we got an email complaining about the number of members here that won ... that were members prior to 2010 apparently.

Maybe it's just me, but I don't see any winners that have been members prior to 2010.

In fact the winners I've seen that have been members... the only posts they have here are for the various giveaways. Otherwise, they started posting here since the giveaway started. Most have 1 post. The only winners I've really recognized being somewhat longer time members is Gaswamper and I think he joined on the last giveaway.

However, apparently, we've been biased?

Some people's kids. Apparently, that's the entitlement generation now. Bitching and moaning... about a giveaway.

At first I was pissed... now I'm just highly amused.

I don't join forums because of giveaways; I join for the information I can gather and/or share. After all, that is the purpose of forums, right? My usual M.O. is to lurk for a while before I become "posting active" to check out the atmosphere and see how folks are treated. There are forums I have joined that I never participate in simply because the "veterans" treat newcomers like their personal whipping boys. I've owned a forum and moderated more than one, and most of the giveaways I ran or have seen on other forums or Facebook pages are specifically set up to promote and help grow the forum or page. Growing membership helps sponsors get some return on their investment, and sponsors help pay the bills associated with forums. For people with no intention of participating, or who are in such a rush to get something free that they can't be bothered to read the rules and do it correctly, I say piss on 'em. They are greedy little bastages who are the very definition of "the entitlement generation".
