Semper Paratus Arms Armorers Courses
We offer one of the most complete AR15 Armorer Courses available to law enforcement, military and civilians. Our course is prepared and given by William Larson and is recognized by AZ POST for law enforcement officers to receive continuing education credit. The duration of the course is two days and can be hosted at your facility.
I have been working with the M16 family of weapons for 27 years, starting with the M16A1 up to the M4 carbine and I am a veteran of both the U.S Army (Infantry) and U.S Coast Guard (Gunners’ Mate) with almost 10 years of total active duty service. Having completed a deployment to the Middle East in support of operations Iraqi and Enduring Freedom in 2005, I entered into the private sector working in Iraq and Afghanistan as an armorer/instructor for a variety of large private military companies on various Department of Defense and the Department of State contracts. I have worked for Triple Canopy, Blackwater USA, Olive Group (UK) and SOC-SMG. I have attended and completed numerous factory armorer courses from such companies as Beretta, Barrett, Colt, Dillon Aero, FN-USA, Glock, Knights’ Armament, Remington, and SigSauer. In addition I have attended shooting courses from Magpul Dynamics, Surefire, Patrol Rifle, Special Purpose Rifle (SPR) as well as CQB training.
I have extensive experience working on and maintaining weapons in hostile environments with almost 6 years of time in Iraq and Afghanistan. I have worked extensively with the M16 family of weapons, AK47’s, PKM machine guns, M240/M249 machine guns, Glock pistols and numerous other small arms.

I took his class a couple of years ago here in AK... being rather new to AR's, I leaned a TON. He's coming back this Feb, and thinking I may take it again just to pick up a few more things I probably missed.

Allow me to provide some additional background on the course itself. The reason I set this course up was to allow civilians to receive training that is generally not afforded to them. The Colt course and several others are restricted to LE, military and gov't personnel most of the time with certain exceptions. Civilians which have been the driving force behind most all gun sales since 2008, and especially sales of AR15's and similar rifles are the ones who may in fact benefit the most. This is particularly true of those who are taking advantage of building AR's. If all standards across the board were the same, then this would probably not be a big deal, unfortunately that is not the case. There are differences in component quality, gas ports, gas systems, etc..
Students in my course in some cases elect to build a weapon and others will bring an existing weapon. Students will have the benefit of seeing weapons that have been assembled incorrectly in some cases and to make comparisons of a variety of companies and components.Owner/Instructor- Semper Paratus Arms

I agreed with your statement until i looked at the weather on my way out to get the paper that informed me my city was banning fireworks in city limits due them disturbing livestock , might I add livestock are not permitted in city limits . I will agree that I do appreciate the guns laws since leaving from Kommiefornia even though a bunch of them followed me and are trying to ruin this state also ...........sorry rant over .
Wish I could afford the course but I'm saving for the Direct Action Response course in Nov .
