yeh, ive had plenty of family that play, and I've been told that getting your ring finger and pinkie to work independently of your other fingers is the hard part. I've wanted to learn for a few years now, but have never gotten around to it

Yeah, I love it up here. Sad if I have to leave in the future... wife's health may require it. Until then tho, I'm packing in as much as I can!!

The shrimp and octopus pics are all from Prince William Sound, the part of Alaska that was hit by the Exxon Valdez oil spill in '89. Thankfully it's mostly cleared up, but I've dug was down on a few beaches and it's still possible to find oil...

And glad ya like my 'stache :D ... under orders from the Wifely UnitŠto never, ever shave it off (again)

I'm not usually one for reviving months-old threads but since this is the best place for my post I might as well.

My day job requires me to live on the road, which gives me little opportunity for stippling but ample time in diners and restaurants. Since I do tech work, I have an abundance of scrap wire and I have slowly been figuring out how to turn it into something else. It started with flowers for waitresses. (Note the shameless use of hearts for Valentine's day)

But it has evolved to more complex creations like skulls, gnomes, and this dragon.
