Godspeed. I'm still happy with my loyal F22. It will need another set of tires very soon, but otherwise there's no reason to get rid of it at ~36K miles.

I just replaced the brakes, and tires as well. Also did plugs and radiator service. It's still running like a top, so I'll keep the F22 for the foreseeable future. Last best car that reminds me of E46 dimensions!

Haven't replaced your charge pipe yet? That means you're just not "enjoying" the car enough then! Although I'm sure the average Florida temperatures doesn't help with the inevitable failures that occur.

I only really ever drive it to get gas. That's the wife's daily, so she's very easy on it.

If I kept it as a project car, I would definitely upgrade the entire exhaust system. You do any mods on yours, even subtle ones or completely stock?

Just the CarPlay addition that I mentioned earlier in the thread and a metal charge pipe when the plastic OEM one blew on me getting on the interstate "enthusiastically." It was an interesting experience to go from 300+ hp to some number significantly lower than that. I'd love to know how much power that engine makes when naturally aspirated.

gator, just for you... I got a production slot sometime in March. I am going to hold onto the F15 for now. If I don't do anything with it for a year+ I may at that point reconsider selling it. I just got new tires, plugs, radiator service, and brakes, so I'm reluctant to part with it LOL

Doh... I meant this is replacing the F22 with this G20, but keeping the F22 for now. We still have the F15 and the G07.

I'm so very fortunate that my dad sold it to me 6 years ago at WELL below market value, but she's needed some TLC the last few months that adds up.

Whoa, now that's a toy... I'd be happy to just have the barn and space for that! haha. I am very happy to have the 5 acres we have now but would LOVE to have more space.

It's a Grumman Tiger AA-5B. Technically it's a Gulfstream American (my model year was made in the same factory in Savannah) which really confuses some people in FBOs. "Wait, you took 20 gallons of AVGAS, but you have a Gulfstream?"

My parents used to do a lot of camping out west in the mountains with it, so my dad put the constant speed prop on it, which is a really nice addition. I upgraded the GPS and AHARS (Garmin G5s) when I bought it, so along with the already installed autopilot, it's a cross-country machine w/ 2-axis coupler (kind of...more like 1 1/2 axis) and capable of shooting LPVs.

BTW, I need to reach out to you soon and pick your brain on your side of the industry. I think I'm going to have to come up with a new job within the next year.

I'd like to fly out to the PNW some time, it just requires a lot more time off to get out that far. I've flown that plane out to AZ and to San Diego (two different trips), so I know it'll get me there, it just takes time at 130 kts. Besides, aren't you supposed to be moving east?
