Which is what the EOTech A65 reticle did since it's invention. I don't see any real need for those "exposed gaps" at ranges that this compensation is neccessary.
And for longe ranges where this part of the reticle also can be used they aren't of much utility either.

IMHO this is more of a marketing gag than a real new feature.
