Chances are it will get stored in my safe. He finances it, I get to shoot it.... Win win

In all honesty he's getting older and his arthritis is making it hard for him to cycle his lever action while hunting. I think this will work out great as a deer gun for him.

I would be so torn on firing that one..... but I would never get rid of it

I am becoming that way but still have part of the collector in me. While I have my "hard use" guns, there are still plenty I want to own just to own them.

Hey.... The Fisher House Charity is seriously in need of help! If everyone who entered Stick's giveaway donated just $5 they would reach their goal with just us! I've already donated and intend to donate more.... those of us who are here for more than just free stuff let's show some support for a good cause and help them reach their goal as quickly as possible. Even if you can't afford to donate at least help spread the word!

Agreed!!! Please donate if you can.. I know times can be tough but a $10 donation to such a worthy cause is miniscule and should be easy.. I hope everyone steps up and donates what they can!!

Exactly. We've been swamped with car bills this month ... $700 as of today and a potential for $300 more. Stupid cars. But I still donated. Don't think that $10 won't matter ... if everyone pitches in just $10 lousy dollars then they'll hit their goal in no time. And you'll get tenfold back in good karma.

Are you getting my point yet? This ain't a charity thread or forum. There are thousands of good causes out there. To allow soliciting for your favorite would not be fair to others who feel theirs is even more deserving.
