Thank you!
voodoo_man also has more excellent pictures and a little write up on his blog at http://vdmsr.blogspot.com/2014/11/ar...hand-stop.html, and lots of sweet photos on his flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/vdmsr/
And UW's photos rock, as usual. :)Will - Owner of Arisaka LLC - http://www.arisakadefense.com

So any clues on what else Arisaka might be producing besides the Scout bodies in the future?

Possibly a Scout compatible head. That one is iffy though. I'm intent on keeping everything we sell made in the USA, and while we can spin the bezel out, the electronics pose a different issue. I'd go with a Cree LED, and one of my skillsets happens to be PCB design, so that isn't the problem. What is a problem is keeping the costs down, as PCB production in the USA is very, very expensive. It doesn't make sense to make a light head if it costs as much as a Surefire.
Actual products that are definitely coming out, probably in this order:
1. Mini scout compatible body
2. 90 degree VFG in small numbers, trying to see if we can get the costs down to make it competitive, but probably not going to happen. :\
3. Collaboration with MilitaryMoron on a light based project. I can't give any other details at this time, sorry.
4. A scout mount for handguards without 45 degree flats, like the NSR, CMR, MI, SLR, which will position the light similarly to our inline mount on a 45 degree flat. We are licensing the reverse threaded keymod screws from BCM, so the mount will be very thin. It will also have multiple lateral mounting positions like our inline mount, so you can tuck the light up against the top rail or clear a front sight.
5. A ring light add-on for our scout mounts to take advantage of the lateral positioning.
1-2 before Christmas, hopefully. Depends on the anodizers. Everything else in the New Year. Will - Owner of Arisaka LLC - http://www.arisakadefense.com

I'll be a buyer if you decide to make light heads in the US.
I'm tired of Chinese crap, and avoid Made in China whenever possible.
